One that I could do while still at my Keyboard and on the CUTIE SITE .I've only been here for the past month .And my clothes have shrunk ! I have cut down on doing a lot of things:

I Miss My Favourite T.V. shows . I turn up the volume so I can Hear some of them.

I bath in record time .No more Bubble Soaks.

My mouse has turned Left Handed .Because I eat while clicking .

DH obeys orders ,"Oh please refill my Cup ,I'm going to lose my Page if I don't save This last Design " ( hundreds later I ask for refill again . )

My Dog can open the door to let himself back in.

My effort at washing windows stopped after only one ,(there are 10 Large )

I'm also sleep deprived ! The clock has just jumped ahead to 03:10 am .

Hi I was being serious ! My exercise bike is whizzing !! I can peddle 4.33volts acording to the "fluke' meter that DH keeps bothering me about. He says he's waiting to see 5Volts now!!!Mostly I think he's jelouse that He did't think of this himself. Thanks all goes to asterixsew.
I'm going to be the 'fittest Cutie'on this site.
Now all I need is a meter to read the distance pedaled.

I thought 'clicking' the mouse was exercise. Now I'm really confused...what's a girl to do.I know I'm afraid to go near a scale especially if 'clicking' the mouse isn't exercise. I know bought jeans that have a lot of s-t-r-e-t-c-h to them. My cat lets me know if I've forgotten to feed him.(he gets fed 6X a day since he went in for surgery) He plants himself on my keyboard and won't budge. All 15 pounds of him.I'm so glad there are others out there feeling a bit 'plumpolicious' and I am not alone.

What is diet and exercise, sorry words I DO NOT understand. "Whenever I hear the dirty word exercise, I wash my mouth out with chocolate".

Well you know Bevgrift what about this? If you don't already have a swivel chair buy one and that way when you're sitting downloading and uploading patterns you move JUST the bottom half of your body from one side and then to the otherside like you're twisting!!! :) Works the waistline and you can still use your mouse and the keyboard. He he
Goodluck with it all!

Diet? Exercise? What's that?

by asterixsew Moderator 26 Jun 2010

Right the answer to this is:-
Get yourself an exercise bike
Make sure the computer is a laptop
The internet connection has to be wireless
It would also help if you were generating your own electricity
THEN
get on the exercise bike and peddle away while surfing the internet. By generating your own electricity you will only get power by rapid movement of the legs so to be able to download you peddle away. Maybe you need to train the dog to do more than open a door. Husband will be delighted that the power bill is reduced.
Still working on the rest of this plan, so will keep you updated when it is sorted...
Do you still have time to sew?

There is hope. After saving 10,000 freebies the pickings get slimmer. But then I turned to grazing through each of the sections to keep up with what is going on with everyone, which means I have to respond to some of them and of course give out as many stars as possible, so I am still sitting at the computer. But my clothes strunk, not me. Anyway, this is just another chance for me to ramble and not do housework.

I'm laughing out loud here! What with the kitchen being dismantled and the new one arriving in a week's time, we have the toaster and kettle down here in my sewing room. My husband Trevor says all I need is a fridge and the microwave in here and I need never come out!!!!!!!!!

Now, that's a thought!!!! No, only kidding, but I can empathise with you Bev. I think once you get on here, everything goes by the by!

I'm lucky though as I have television on this computer (not Foxtel though drat!!) and so I can have that going as well as be on CUTE!!!!

HAHAHA! You've got it as bad as the rest of us. Is this why my cloths don't fit so well any more? I think you're right. If you find a diet plan that works let us know!

Well, the diet part is easy. It's awfully hard to cook while you're at the keyboard, so you won't be making much food. Hopefully DH will get tired of catering and then you would have to actually get up to get food (encouraging your exercise plan but you would rather be downloading so you won't do it often).
Try the squeeze and release exercises for all your muscles, you can do it anywhere.
Good luck.

Thanks I sure will do the squeezes.
I have plans for suppers. With my Pressure-Pot-Cooker and a timer-buzzer it's only 20mins (+ extra for freezing ) and the pot does not need stirring.

My DH might help me by a laptop so I can sit on the couch and download while he works on his work and his blog and the whole family watches TV.
