Ok I made 2 I spy bags last night for my kids. We are leaving on a trip Friday night. Well both of the windows tore out this morning. Ugh all that work for nothing. Do I need a thicker plastic for the window or do I need a different design for around the window. I used the bug jar from the designs by cuties. Help me please.

Now I have to go shopping for heavy plastic and beads and buttons! Bet my son and DIL will thank me for keeping the kids quiet when they're in the car!

I have made a bunch, A cutie sent me a piece of thicker plastic it was better so bought more. Now I have found I also need to space the satin stitching around wider & not as close together. In fact I think a wide zig zag does better. I have also sewed bias tape around the plastic window prior to satin stitch enclosure, or zig zag stitch. A leather needle also works better. My G.G. son really gives his a workout in church & so far no problems. Others who have asked me to make them for their kids have not complained either, I hope this helps, good luck. *
