I have stained items before and used a q-tip with beach. It is tedious and not always effective. The oxiclean seems to work sometimes. I wish you luck. Keep working at it. Sometimes it takes more than 1 wash to work.

This is why I always rather wash the cloth before I embroider the dark colours, especialy if it is dark. Salt water in the wash water should help it to stop bleeding into the white. Hope you can fix it.
Hugs and God bless.

you could try washing it with one of those new color catcher cloths, they take all the bleeding colors from things rather than letting it run into everything. I don't know if you can wash your tote but that would be my thought. I have read it will remove the color from things that have had it run into them.
good luck

I had the same thing happen on a set of towels I just embroidered for my niece and her fiance to give to give to his mother for Mother's day.

The towels were a weird burgundy colour and they chose gold thread for the embroidery. When I sprayed with water to remove the WSS the burgundy ran into the gold, thankfully it was very even so didn't look too bad when they dried.

Worse luck there was nothing could be done and I had to advise them to buy any towels in future from a different supplier, who I know sells better quality towels at a price they could afford.

Young ones don't have the experience to know good quality from poor.
Some colours are just more prone to running and in the old days we used to wash items in hot water with a heap of salt then in cold water with salt, to try and set the dye.

I would try the Oxy Clean or Clorox 2 for colored clothes. I have been told that Rayon thread tends to fade when washed. You might try using another type of thread. Have you ever heard of Metro go to their website and take a look. I use this thread and it is a polyester. Love it and the price you cannot beat. But it sounds to me like it was your bag that faded. You can try to wash it and see what happens. Oh Yes welcome to cute. And good luck with future projects.

I think I would use oxey clean or clorx 2 blwach may really mess up your bag,
some times oxey clean will take it out and some times clorex 2 will but it will not hurt thr color.

Do you consider this item to be ruined?
If yes then you can try and do anything because it is a ruined item anyways.
If I thought my project to be ruined I would take a Q tip and some bleach and dab the bleach on the dots and rinse right away with cold water over and over again.
If you think you can live with pink dots let it be.
In the future either prewash or use only cold water to wash.

What sort of embroidery thread did you use? Was your fabric pre-washed? Are you now asking what can you do to get the pink dots - back white - more thank likely - nothing my dear - you almost have to prepare your fabric (by making sure it is color safe or pre-washing) that you are embroidering on - first - so this will not happen.
