There is a search topics on the left side of this page.
If you click on the tags digitizing or software , or type embird or digitising in the search box, you should find many previous discussions on this topic.

I have five different digitising programs ranging in price from under $1,000 to over $3,500.
The one I choose to use is Embird. You can download the full version and trial it for a month FREE, before you buy the various module licences.

Hi Cutie
I Use Embird and love it .. perhaps I have got so used to it as I did receive Pe design free with my last machine and could not get on with it
I have also had a play with generations, at my local dealers.. did not get on with that either lol..
Thinking further on it.. perhaps your local dealers would allow you to have a play with their software ??
My dealer is brilliant lets me play with all his machines and everything.. have taken the time to build up a good relationship with them..
Have fun
big hugs from London
Mooie xx

oooh ! interesting idea, but with 3 little ones and no really close dealers....not too likely to happen, though i will keep in the back of my head should the opportunity arise when next i am in the city for the doctors :)

I have Husqvarna Viking 4D Pro and love it. I know of many who have Embird and also love it. There is quite a learning curve for all programs, takes time and patience! I only digitize a little from time to time but it is nice to be able to manipulate designs for your own purpose. I just put the Horseshoe Font from here on CUTE on a shirt for my Mom for Mother's day - I seperated two of the clovers from the design then I stitched the HorseShoe initial center of the neckline and used the individual clovers to extend either side of the initial up to the shoulders. Rather like a necklace on the shirt - Looks great!

I have 3D pro from Husqvarne, now out of date, but do not want to buy again. It does all I want it to do as I have Husqvarne machines. Not have had enough time to learn to digitize. there is a program from sands computing and have heard that is is good, very much cheaper and can try it free for a month also lots use Embird what is fair in price.

Hi undecided, I have PE design as I have a Brother machine. I use my softwear a little, I dont have the time to get to grips with digitising yet. Yes it was expensive but I am able to do what I want with it. I think that maybe you could do with a reply from one of the Cuties who digitise a lot. Probably they did not see your first message. Happy deciding on what to get
