brides gown. Got a call from hubby while he was working...thinks he tore his knee again (operated on in Nov) and I could tell he was in pain. All I could think about was who is going to walk the daughter down aisle if he can't. I just wanted to cry this is just too much to bear sometimes. I do know there are others far worse off and I am sorry, but the last three years have not been a picnic and this year is just keeping the same pace. I will certainly be grateful for the wedding to be over. I just can't wait to get the wedding gown done and see her wear it. Some sadness, this is the last of the three to fly the coop. :) Thanks for letting me vent Cuties!

You have been given some good advise. Take one day at a time and look after yourself now.
How is your husband doing and when is the wedding??

Try to relax! The wedding WILL take place; it WILL be a wonderful, memorable day, even IF some things don't go as originally planned. The vows WILL be said, and there WILL be moist eyes throughout the sanctuary. You WILL survive all this, and you WILL have beautiful memories from the day. And, remember, where there is a WILL, there is a WAY...and it doesn't have to be PERFECT to be "perfectly wonderful".

So glad that the wedding is planned. Liked psssst's ideas for FOB to meet the bride at the front (and other ideas too). I believe there are worse things that could happen, but I'm sure it doesn't seem so now. Liked jrob's thought on taking a quick walk; it does help to regroup. We're facing a wedding with lots of complications, also. It is stressful, but at least there will be a marriage. I pray that God will bless your daughter and her husband, and my son and his wife.

Vent all you want to.......I know you have a million and 3 things to do, but try to take a quick 10 minute walk every day to clear the cob webs and regroup. I promise you will accomplish more, NOT loose 10 minutes, but gain an hour. Stress will shut you down if you aren't careful. It's good to spew it out here, too. You are being prayed for.

Options for daughter being walked down the aisle
1. Her father in a motorized wheelchair they can be rented
2. Her father waiting at the alter for her and her grandfather or uncle walks her to him and transfers
3. You walk her down theaisle where her father is waiting
Problem solved now relax and try to enjoy this joyous day
