I stitched out the M of the weddingfont.

It's beautiful! But - I needed to stay at my machine. The towel I used is thick, the jumpstitches are in comparison to the design a little big, so the embroideryfoot took the loops every now and than. It needs to be cut immedeately - this is my experiance. With a flat fabric you will not have this problem, but with fabrics, the stitches are "sincking".

The same is by the way with the embossed swan design, it needs some more attention ba embroidering because of the long jumpstitches on soft or thick fabrics. (I use backing and hoop it with the fabric, doesn't matter)
Hope it will be helpful for you.

Thank you for the information it will be most helpful when I try one of these designs out. I for one am one of those who never leave my machine when it is stitching. I am always afraid of a broken needle or thread breaking and jamming up the machine. I am also facinated with how the whole design comes together.

Yes you are right! I always use a simular fabric to test - this was my luck!
But sometimes there are designs use so long time, I'm going to prepare anything else - and that's it!
Better is to stay! If you are patient enough or not too busy
