Cuties, Auntbaba and others have now inspired me to make some coasters for my sister's small boutique cum coffee shop, especially for the warm drinks, as winter is just around the corner here! Please also tell me how do you care for yours, i.e. removing coffee/tea stains? Thank you for your help! Suzette

There is a free square one on Brittdesign Yahoo group. Here is the link but you have to sing in. You could use some cotton frabric with cups or coffebeans printed on and make them double in the hoop. This can be washed rather hot. Hope this helps you Suzette

Thank you, but they are FSL? Pretty, perhaps not too lasting for a shop?

I know that I have seen some of the blank coaster designs out there, but can not remember where the stie is just now. I was thinking of something the other day about what to do with coasters to protect the design. Have you thought of putting the clear pastic over the design area? Too, if you have software that you can edit a design, you may be able to add your own design in the middle. Give it a try. Please let us know how you come along with this, and do let us see your completed project. I know that Britts designs has coasters - take a look.

Thank you! I have thought about the plastic, but maybe the heat will leave a mark - will try. I have software, but can not edit a design, can add a design and skip colours, but it takes long if you make them in numbers. Thanks for the link!
