One more question:
Do you give this embroidered 1st sheet to your guests to take it? Who will be the first at the toilet???
It is quite an eye-catching novelty to those who have never seen it done. Keep having fun!! *
You gave me a great idea! I'm going to start testing my designs on toilet paper...fabrics are so expensive comparing to TP, and I already ran out of the fabric for testing :(
Hi,
do you really mean the roll of the paper???
The paper you use daily around ..... or more pieces?
Or is it the cover??
Been waiting for any photo - sounds so interesting.
How you can frame it without break?? Backing?

Hanna, just the front of the roll. You embroidery the first pieces of the roll, without dettach them of the rest of the roll. After you have embroidered, you get the part you heve done and put it in front of the roll. It is the regular paper, yes! After embroidered you put the rolls in piramid shape on some surface at the bathroom.
great! I tested with a roll and underlay of watersoluble folie which is easy to remove.
And I try also with magnetic hoop, no adhesive, that's easy.
Thanks for this funny idea, I can test it as a gift for sombody has everything and do not need anything - as my mother in a home for senile people. She will smile.
Blessings for you - now you can see how quick your garden of flowers is growing - Isn't it?
Yes, it is an interesting thing to do. I have done it for gifts and people just can't get over the idea that it can be done.
Fnny that, but when people come to my house they don't believe that it is regular paper. They think that is some kind of very special and expensive material... :)
I would love to see any pics of the finished roll, if you have them. I have never seen that done! Kind Regards.... Robin
My cam is broken and the cam of the cell is awful, but as soon I take a picture I'll put here!
I've been embroidering on toilet paper for quite awhile...back around 1995 when I got my first machine. My story involves Ebay. I was quite successful with Ebay, to say the least! The design that sold the most, was my redwork (but actually, brownwork) design of an outhouse. I would only list one roll at a time and the bidders would fight over it! I sold LOTS of TP...and many at, get this, $25.00 a roll! I still put it in my craft shows...sure wish I could get the $25.00/roll again!
Oh goodness! $25 a roll is a small fortune to me!!! But I don't have time do make some to sell... *4U!
I did for the first time last last year. I was surprised at how easy it was and fun to do.
