March 23, 2010 - I'm very curious to hear from you all... which are your favorite FSL digitizers AND WHY? For example, Ace Points, S-Embroidery, Zundt, etc... :-) teri

I'm pretty sure that I didn't read emblibrary. I have made a lot of their snowflakes and icicles. Other Christmas ones, the moose, the shamrock and pumpkin that were monthly freebies. Oh, and the cardinal with the attached wings. All sew out with no trouble with one layer of vilene.

I have only stitched ONE fsl design and that was the angel here at cute. It turned out beautiful! I have collected many more but until recently have not even touched my new machine (Brother 770) Now everyone has really got me anxious to get going...
I just have to finish with a few more things re my mom's passing (cleaning out her rooms is the hardest) and then I can divert my attention back to my sewing room.
I must say that the inspiration from here is the greatest!!

Dainty Stitches, Stitch-4-Stitch, C-Some Stitches,My Garden (Yoriko), Advanced Embroidery, Sadia, Sonia Showalter, and Sue Box. Are just a few. There are also many here in Designs by Cuties who do wonderful designs.

I go for the ones with no or few jumps. If I do a FSL design that jumps all over the place with long jumps, I never stitch it again. And I won't purchase from the particular digitizer. Jumps are hard to trim when there are so many times to stop, remove the hoop and start again. :-)

Maryann, thank you so much for adding me to your list. I do my best to offer beautiful and original FSL designs with high quality, with no jumps, and I really appreciate you have added me. Love,Yoriko

You're very welcome and I am honored to have your designs in my collection!
Thank you for your generous heart and hard work to make embroidery a fun experience with results to be proud of.

I mentioned above in my original post that there are many Cuties who are generous in sharing with us.
I would like to add MOPS to one of my favorite digitizer/designer list. The FSL Easter Egg she shared is also a perfectly digitized design. I'm make a lot and every one has stitched beautifully. Thank you MOPS for your generous heart and hard work, too!! I'm also honored to have some of your designs in my collection. Here is the link to the design I am stitching.

Thank you so much for mentioning my designs! It makes it worthwhile when I get compliments as generous as yours!

maryanns66 by maryanns66 26 Mar 2010

It is you who deserves all the thanks for your designs you share with us. I was so tired last night I mentioned the other egg. I'm also anxious to stitch it.:-)These FSL Easter eggs will be given away as gifts to family and friends, and to the hospital my brother volunteers at. Of course my DH and I will display ours on our twig Easter tree.

Thank you ladies for this great topic! I checked out the link you posted for MOPS and d/l her design. It looks lovely and I really don't care what season it is, I'll stitch whatever fsl appeals to me at the moment. Guess I'll just have to look for more from MOPS. You sound like you're very happy with her digitizing so I will keep her in mind. Yoriko, you have a fantastic site! I wish I had more money because everything I saw there looks very appealing. I also like Ricky's designs. This is such a talented group I wonder how I got lucky enough to find Cuties! Thank you all for giving of your hard work, time and talent. It is so very appreciated , specially since I do not digitize.

I almost forgot! Sonia Showalter has great FSL. She is very good at having as few jump stitches as possible. B&L Crafts also has a lot of good fsl designs, so does dainty stitches, a stitch and a half and there's so many others I can't think of at the moment.
I'll shut up now,
Meri

I just love Sonia Showalter's Angel designs, and I can vouch for the fact that they sew out beautifully. I actually know that I can leave the machine running for a few minutes, without being there, because they stitch out so beautifully.

Hello Teri, I agree that the designs from http://design.tavernmaker.de are beautiful to stitch out. This site was my first attempt for FSL and it turned out really nice.

SoniaShowalter has beautiful angel designs with several themes and they stitch out perfectly. She is on The Stitchery Mall.
The Country Needle has very nice designs and she sends an angel design out every Wednesday on her Yahoo group mailing.
MountainThreadArt.net has great "theme" lace designs.
Recently I have discovered C-Some-Stitches and her lace stitches out beautifully. Am currently stitching her FSL Easter Eggs, using the Mylar technique and variegated threads--just beautiful.
K-Lace has beautiful designs that stitch out great. Again, join their list for specials.
S-Embroidery--did their gingerbread bowl/doily/ornament and it is adorable--stitches perfectly.
AStitchAHalf, Dainty Stitches and Stitch Delight have very nice lace that stitch out well.
BFC-Creations has wonderful bowl/doily sets that are just beautiful and excellent stitchouts.
GorgeousStitches has pretty designs, but the jump stitches are horrendous.
Irene's Designs has wonderful animal FSL--stitch well.
Love's Embroidery has nice designs--lots of banners and things for holidays.
SadiaSews has wonderful lace--again join her groups, also several freebies on her site. She is wonderful digitizer.
SueBox has the greatest designs and they stitch out absolutely trouble free. She has some lace freebies in her sets--actually every set on her site has a wonderful freebie.
These are my "dependables, as well as the sites previously mentioned in earlier posts. I stitch more FSL than any other type of design. Lj

Oh gosh I completely forgot about TCN and I have a membership there ooops! I agree with you on all of the sites you mentioned too they are all beautifull designs and stitch out wonderfully.

marietta by marietta 23 Mar 2010

I agree with you on all these that you mentioned too. There are so many lovely sites for FSL

I really must add Tavernmaker. When I first started doing FSL their free designs were great practice. I did tons of their angels for Christmas gifts last year. Most of my FSL designs are freebies, but some of the more reasonable ones are from Dainty Stitches and Stitch delight. I just can't justify the more expensive sites even tho their Lace is georgous.

Maryjo, this is for me too. My first FSL, was with their angels, and after that I fell in love with FSLs!

Ace Points has some of the cutest designs but the jump stitches are very annoying. I also like the variety they have. If I have to choose one it would have to be Inspiration Mutz followed in a close second by Anna Bove and Advanced oh shoot and Cornielia Dobber's Creative Designs. Ok just those 4 are my top favorites... so far. If I look at my folder I will probably have at least 10 more favorites hahaha

For me, I'd have to say that ANY design I do from S-Embroidery comes out very nice! Same with From the Needle of Anne. Zundt too has some gorgeous designs and they too stitch out perfectly! :-)
