works perfect for labels on blankets, quilts, cloths, etc. Pick a color that matches your project and off you go. On to my question for the rest of you Cuties... How do you make your labels?

I'm still learning the quilt thing. I've seen the block labels on lots. I hae no trouble making the blocks I just haven't figured out how to do the final finishing. Call me dense but I just don't get the stitch in a ditch thing. I'm one of those who has to see it done to understand it. Thanks for all your ideas. Something else for me to try.

I have some designs for quilt labels. I put made by grandmother & my name & date. for Greats I put made by great gmother & date. I use a plain piece of muslin on some & some I use a coordinating piece of fabric. *

On quilts I make one of the blocks the label. For clothing and other items I usually use ribbon.

I use a small applique design that goes with the theme of the blanket and I usually use satin I did try ribbon the last time and it worked nicely

On my baby quilts I make one block that says Made by Grandma in a frame or incorporate it it into another design. Teresa
