My prayers are with Shirlene and Rick and I work for a Christian Organization and we have devotions everyday and open prayer list. I will make sure it goes down for prayer.

Lord I pray that your healing hands well be placed on Ricks body let the power of your love go from his head to his toes. May is recovery be complete. I pray that your hands well be with the Dr's. and the hospital stuff who are careing for him.
Give Shirlene a special blessing of comfort and may she have peace in her heart that her husband will be just fine. Give her strength to over come the days to come. As she sleeps restore her body.

Thank you all for your prayers for our dear Shirlene and Rick. We must continue to pray with all our hearts. I know, first hand, how truly well the power of prayer works.

I haven't heard from Shirlene since her last email, some 13 hours ago when she wrote the following:

"We will know a bit more later - but for now - we know he will be in ICU for a week and then transferred to University for rehab and aggressive treatment. "

I am waiting to hear from her but we all know how difficult it is when you have a loved one in hospital. She may even decide to post here at Cute, herself, but I did offer to pass on her messages if she couldn't face it all just now.
