Sorry if this sounds a selfish request: since my husband died, I have been trying so hard for the last couple of years to find a house I can pay for (I'm too old for borrowing) - trouble is it is in the bottom price bracket & every time I find one, some developer snaps it up to demolish; one time I drove 4 hours for an inspection appointment, and was there early, only to be told by the agent that the house had been sold ten minutes earlier; this one now is a rickety old house, but I could make it home - I know its not a life & death thing but I would so like not to have another disappointment - its holiday weekend here & I haven't been able to reach my solicitor to try to push it along - I'm so nervous, I can't concentrate on anything so I'm keeping busy downloading lots of beautiful designs & alphabets from Cute E & asking all you special people for a little support - need all the positive thinking I can get; sure hope the other folks change their mind & see something else that suits them better.
