Have you tried taking out the bobbin case and giving it a good cleanout, especially the little groove where the thread runs through? Also I'd pull some thread through the tension from top to bottom and see if you manage to dislodge a loose thread. Generally a good clean fixes this sort of issue if I have one. I sometimes will also hold the top thread a bit firmly before it runs through the tension disks and it might get over whatever the problem is. Slowing your machine down a little if you can may also help. Best of luck. Very frustrating when they don't behave nicely!

Ava if u r not having any trouble with other designs when u stitch then my guess it is the design itself that is a problem. I would not keep stitching it. If u r having trouble with other designs. change to different thread, change needles, slow speed of machine down.. Clean your machine well, make sure there are no bits of thread in it anywhere. All this doesn't work, talk with your dealer, show them what it is doing. *

Need to decrease the density . Have to have editing progam to do this . Some designs are just digitized too dense and they will do that .
