I hoop a stiff stabilizer (Peltex) - the type often used in purse and fabric bowl making --- stich the doll then cut access away carefully. Make the clothes using a light weight stabilizer and then trim. Then I use Aileens Tack it over and over - use a sponge brush and paint it onto the backside of the clothing. Let dry then do a second coat. Now you the clothes will "stick" over and over again to the doll. If at some point it fails to stick just re-apply another layer of glue and let dry! They turn out very cute!

Do you have an alternative name for the tack it, or a gernaric name Sllakin?? Thanks

Sorry, I spelled the name wrong - correct name is "Aleene's Tack it over and over" - and no, I do not know of another glue like it, sorry.

Someone will help I'm sure. I have never stitched any out although I do have some designs. I think they would b very entertaining to a child. *
