I've seen here on cute, someone embroidered on knitting.

I want to do a hat.
Is there a special technique?
Can anyone give tips?

I got it made.
It was really quite simple.
It is no different than just embroidery.
I will still take a picture of it.
Thank you again for the tips.

10tie, I have embroidered on knitting, not on hat.I have used self sticky stabilizer underside, i put it without stretching and above, I put solvy(wss?), and I put all in the hoop, as it last not long, there is no track after

I did it on a knitted scarf, I use sticky tearaway in the hoop and fixed the scarf upon this. on top wss stabilizer just like you use on towels.succes!

(mijn dealer heeft zgn, plakkende stik en trek)

I've done knitted hats before...hooped tearaway stablizer, pinned the knitted item done (not hooped) placed clear water sol. stablizer over top (pin down).
Works great! Only other option is to float a second tearaway underneath your hoop if needed.

10tje, I've embroidered on knitting.
I just hooped the knitted item, do not stretch it to far side ways , keep the stitching in line. Did not hoop the stabilizer. Just feed it under the hoop and use wss on top.
