How do you get fsl really stiff. How thick do you make the solvy and water.

thanks gayle

Gayle, I like my lace really soft - but if you are wanting it stiff - to form it or shape it or just to have it stiff - just DON'T rinse all the stablizer out - if you feel that you have - you can do as sciencewidow suggest and make your own bath for your lace to dip into or apply. The thicker it is - the more you will notice in the final project, too. Good luck and let us know - what worked for you. *4U

When I do my FSL designs and lace I rinse with warm water and let it dry. If I want a softer lace I let soak in the warm water, and then dry. By leaving some of the WS in the design you will come out with a stiffer design. I never need to stiffen the designs again. I am sure that Shirlene can let you know, as others can do also, but thanks for asking this, and good luck with the FSL.
