Thanks for asking this! I have changed the color of the designs on many of my lace designs, but I just can't keep up with them all. I never even thought to use the software to change the background color. So... I got an answer too! Thanks!
I think it would be too much work to change the color of every lace design you own, the suggestion to change the setting for the background of your viewing programm is the faster way to solve it.
And PS: I surely do not laugh about this... I deleted some files because the seemed to be empty ...I thought the were corrupt.
I use the free EOS Viewer, to change the background color is main menu: Tools, submenu System Parameters-
here i choosed like maryjo a very pale green.
Helps! ;-)
you've got the answer and remember there's never a stupid question, It's stupid if you wonder and don't ask! *4u
I see you have your answer - so I will leave you with a flower and just remember - a question that isn't ask - can't be answered - *4U
NO laughs dear, we all learn the tips as we go. I always change the colors so I can see what I'm doing but change it back before saving.
I use Embird to change my lace colours & then save the changes as the design dosn't show very well on my machine. you can sew one colour designs in any colour u desire. It also shows up better on a printout of centering if you are inserting lace. *4u all
Click on the side with the design in it. Then click on View, which is at the top. Then click on Background colour and pick the colour you want. Then click OK. Just remember, you must click on the part that shows your design first.
Thank you both for your help. Yes I looked in the help section and found how to change the background color so I can see it.When I close the file it goes back to white, but that is okay as long as the file is still there, I hope! Thank you again.
After you change colors, then go to "File" and do a "Save As". You may need to give it a different name, but most softeware will ask you if you want to over ride the first one, if you say yes it should save in your colors. H&*
Yes, it will go back to white. The file will still be there. You will have to change the background colour every time you view a design that is white.
Don't know your software. I have Pfaff 4D Suite. In the configure(setup)section I make my background a very pale blue or green that way almost every color shows up. Hope you find a solution.
Sorry I do not know that software. Do you have a book or CD that came with it? On my software at the top I have a "help" that I can go to, check and see if you have this, any of the above should tell you how to change colors. H&*
I don't know how yours works. But in mine I would change the color of the design. I have pe design.
