This will keep it in place while handling the fabric and frame.

Beautiful sewing room! The display of the hoops and threads units are well placed. I too got some idea for me to do my sewing room in a cheap and better way.I would like to have some pictures of your sewing room in different sides. Thank you for the tip. God bless you.

a Very good tip, I have been using this since I have had my embroidery machine, and it works like a bomb.

I use that as well - also a large rectangle underneath my embroidery machine, to keep it from rotating or jumping around. Hehehe! *4U

Thanks for the tip I will try it, I have used it for several other things, like a piece under may machine or serger to keep it in place. But never thought to use it for the hoops. Thanks again!!!

i to use something like this its called silpat mat and it is used in all kinds of stuff i keep it next to my machine but i also got another tip from embroidery libary that i live by now and this is a cheap way to fix the problem i buy whats called horse bandaid and wrap my whole bottom hoop in it and then when hooping the materil stays in place and it does not move on the table when hooping but it does ware out after a while just peal off and replace and no it does not leave any resido on the hoop one roll of bandaid will last for a long time and it costs around $2.00 and comes in all colors as you can see i used pink and green just hoop the bottom not the top good luck mary

Thanks Eva I also use the matting to make collars for my hoops & use them to keep the stabilizer & fabric from slipping. *

Thanks Eva. I have a piece left over from shelving recently. To short in length to use but kept it for something else. Guess I just found out what the something else could be. :)

Liebe Eva,

Actually you don't even have to tape it. It will stay put without the tape. I roll mine up and put it aside when I don't need it.
