Hello Cuties, what is the best stabilizer to use when you want to embroider a shirt with 'thin' fabric and allot of stitches? Cutaway?

Sometimes, if very thin fabric and very dense design, I'll use cutaway and "float" a piece of tear away underneath (just slip it under where the design will stitch out). And of course the others are right about the water soluable on top.;)

I agree with Deb - use two layers and a WSS topping. *4U

Thanks Shirlener, WSS is water soluable stabilizer? I am dutch and not so familiar with the embroidery shortnames.

Yes, mostly Avalon here.

Yes, 2 layers. You will it to support the stitches as the lightweight fabric will not. If you have any scrap fabric of the same or similar weight, you might want to test stitch first to be sure the fabric can handle it.
