I am looking for a good embroidery program.

Well, everything could.
Like all types stitches as the running stitch and satin stitch and that is good in small details.
Applique and lace.....etc.
Which program do you use and you can do anything?

I use only embird. It's easy to use, not expensive and I love it! But it is for domestic use, if you are buying for industrial use, I heard about Wilcom, and this is my next "dream" :)

Thank you, I think all your patterns very beautiful and it is good to know which program you use.
I found this very interesting topic.
I am beginning to think that I need to use Embird.
Embird I have in my possession, I just understand nothing but mops wants me to help.
Thanks for your comment Yoriko

I have used Viking software since I started digitizing, currently I'm using 3D Pro. The last is cheaper, but very versatile. You don't of course have to buy the Pro version, but I love to have all the trimmings. I thought long and hard about upgrading to 4D Pro, but decided to buy Embird instead, which I've been using since last November. I found it easy to use - but I had been digitizing for 10 years, so I wasn't the typical beginner. It uses a different approach to digitizing - using Bezier nodes instead of creating curves by setting a lot of points to form curves by hand -. The Quick fill and Quick Outline functions, which are a form of auto digitizing specific parts of your design, are nice for simple forms. Embird has a comparable function with its Magic Wand tool. Viking has a lot of built-in fonts and the choice of fillings is enormous - well over a 100 -, but in Embird it's easy to make your own fill patterns, borders and outlines and with the Font Engine add-on is easy to create your own lettering. Free tutorials can be found in abundance on the web, do you want them in Dutch then there is Anneke van Ingen's website. Want to know more, give me a ring, I'll send you a PM containing my telephone number.

I have the 4D Suite, which I believe is the same as Vikings 4D Pro. I don't really digitize but have dabbled a little. According to those in the know I should be able to do just about everything if I ever have time to learn it. I have never used any other program so I can't really give pros and cons.
