But I don't know were to go or who to trust. I have been trying to sell on Craigslist, and other sites like them. and I am running into bad people. I was told me a friend to sit up my own site.

Try Bravenet. You can get free hosting with them. And if you would like to have paid hosting, their fees are very reasonable.

My daughter had her own website...but hosting that website cost money...as well as setting it up. You would have to sell alot of items to recoup your monthly costs.
Have you tried Ebay?

Have you looked into ETSY.com? I have friends who tell me that I need to sell stuff on that site. I have bought embroidery designs on it.

I have used Craigslist,Corkins, ebay,but no ETSY. I will have to check it out.
