The same few designs always seem to be offered. How do we get them to offer different designs to vote on for the “design of the day?” I come to the site daily and vote for the "ladybug quilt"

As Jrob said, it is important FIRST to choose a design that is marked by a pink bird. Otherwise, you are not "voting" at all, but simply signaling that you like that particular design. This bears repeating: Only a design that has a pink bird by it will ever be able to become a freebie! Then, once you've chosen, post a request by adding a comment on the page of the design you want for others to vote for the design you chose. I know that I watch for people to make requests and I frequently will vote for anything that I see a request for. I have a membership, so I am not affected by what the latest freebie is. I just try to help out others.

The ladybug quilt designs have a BLUE bird in the margin which means that it is only available to paid members and your voting on it lets the site manager know how many people like it. All 50 pages of the designs on the site are available for voting, however, ONLY the ones with the PINK birds are available as freebies. I hope that answers your question, it seems that many people are confused about the voting, also. To get a design voted on, I would suggest that you make a request to everyone to vote on it in the comments section of that design and maybe yours will be chosen, but remember - Pink birds only are free. I'll try to watch for your requests and duplicate your vote. Good luck!
