He put me on temazepam and said my blood pressure was up (high for my normal 112/60), reason for the headaches. I still have one last book to do at school and increase my typing speed before doing last typing test. Oh, all to be done this week as I am "supposed to" do my practicum starting mid August. Oh, and get rest of my stuff from my nephews this weekend, along with working 8 hrs each day...... Then maybe I can stop to breath and work more on my girlfriends comfort quilt :)

Joanie, I think you did great considering all that you have on your plate right now! As everything else, this too will pass. Your life will eventually get back to normal and you will find peace again. I wish you much happiness where you are now, place and mind-set. You have alot of will power and guts to tackle all of this at one time. Do slow down enough to enjoy life a little more. You have such a pretty smile so I know you can be happy when you set your mind to it! Listen to Meganne, she knows how to keep her strength up! Good luck and God bless! Linda in Ga

Joanie, I miss you so much! This all will pass as the stress factors are reduced in your life (as we've discussed). I'm so proud of you my friend! So very, very proud.

Congratulations Joanie.
Now some motherly advice, while you're studying keep up a regular supply of 'glucose' type sweets such as barley sugar, sports drinks, (not the caffeine type the high energy type used by top athletes), slices of fresh fruit, or dried fruits, unsalted nuts and/or high energy fruit bars.

You probably know all this but in case you don't, it's all brain food and helps keep your mind alert and receptive.

Then... after every hour of study get up and have a good stretch, do a few full body scissor jumps or skip rope, anything physical to stimulate blood flow.

Hope these little suggestions help your study routine and aid your goals to achieve passes in the rest of your subjects.
Good luck, hugs n roses, Meganne

Congratulations!! With all that you are doing at the same time, I am so impressed. Continue to take it one step at a time and think of all you have accomplished, not what is still to do. Hugs, flowers and Love, Lois

Joanie, a wise person once said; Rule number one is, don't sweat the small stuff. Rule number two is, it's all small stuff. ~Robert Eliot
Don't worry so much that it causes your health to suffer, because without good health, the rest takes a back seat. I'll keep praying for your peace and rest.;)

Glad your exams are ending soon and that your headaches have been diagnosed. Don't worry; the quilt will come together.

Joanie, I think you did great - much better than I would have - with or without the stress factor and the headaches. Job well done & congratulations. You continue to do whatever you have to - to get it all taken care of and then the quilt will come along, too. *4U
