stand out. I think if it was shadowed or outlined it would be perfect. Does anyone know how or if I can do this with my software or not. I tried to copy and paste but when I over lap the design it makes it to thick and it puckers. Any suggestions? Thanks

I've got 3D software. In VIP you could get a .can file in the resizing unit and use that in Digitizing, but 3D no longer has that possibility. The only thing I can think of (but never tried) is load the required letter(s) as a picture in Digitizing, digitize the shadow and/or outline, save and combine with the letter(s).

I don't know if this really helps, but wanted to offer a suggestion...I have 4D and have used a font that has 2-color overlapping type that's included in the software and it stitches out really awesome and of course you can make it stitch out in all types of shapes...good luck

I have been thinking about upgrading to 4D but can't afford right now.

Did you create the font? If you did in 3D you can set an out line of the design when you are creating it.

I'm not sure, but I think you'd have to digitize the shadow effect yourself. Maybe somebody who uses 3-D will be able to help more. Good Luck! Hugs, Marji

Just remembered my Brother machine has a font card that has a 3D effect font I have only tried it out and it looks fine
