Lol This sounds so familiar. I have one place I keep all my hoops & as soon as i unhoop the hoop is placed there. I have a very small rm I use for sewing & embroidering. & I lose everything except thread & hoops. These I try to keep up with. I think I have scissors n every rm of the house so I just find another pr. *
Zij maar rustig meid, lees dit en je word rustig.
Ontspan-U is NOU op die REGTE PLEK.
I am totally anal! I have a very big area and I have everything alphabetised. Colour coded and in plastic tubs in the wardrobe! Now how anal is that? I just wish the rest of the place could look after itself!
I too had a laugh at this post - I tend to get carried away when sewing though and forget about other things - like, cooking, cleaning, ironing (although the ironing board is always up to iron the quilts and embroideries!!)washing etc. etc.
Life is tough, isn't it? Ha Ha Ha he he he
Love to you all Chris

Know what you are feeling. i have a hook on front of work table for mine.
Hehehe, I have those moments 2, happy hunting! You'll be suprised at the tresures you find!
I have taken to hanging them on the wall. I took some hooks and just stuck them in the wall above my machine. There alot easier to find when they are in plain site. Good luck!
Hey I stuck some nice thin nails in the wall and hung my hoops and my rulers up...unfortunately I rearrangesd my room so now they are 15" behind me...
Don't you hate that. Guilty - been there done that - still not tidy.
tsk tsk tsk, now now, be a good girl and clean up your mess, maybe you'll find a surprise under something - like fabric you forgot you had! Good luck and remember s m i l e :-)
I had to laugh when I read your reply. Everytime I clean up my sewing room and my craft room I go crazy wanting to do new projects! I find so many things that I have forgotten that I had that I get in a frenzy! I downsized so much when I moved that there are things that I have not seen in 2 years. I can not get everything unpacked because I have nowhere to put it. My son has not even put my tables together in my craft room. He says that they will not fit. If he would get the boxes out of there and put my tables together, I could unpack the boxes and put up what I could and get rid of the rest. I can not even pick up the boxes. I have 3 disc in my lower back that have deteriorated to the point that I can no longer stand up straight. My arthritis has been working on my body for over 15 years so I do not get around very well anymore. I have 2 cabinets full of cloth and my son threw away a whole closet full of cloth while I was in the nursing home 5 yrs ago. He did not even live there anymore and came in and threw it away. I really wanted to kill him when I found out. He said it was old and in the way and I was never going to use it. I really think that he thought he was rid of me and was planning on keeping me in the nursing home. I was 57. The day they took off the last bandage, I asked the Dr. if I could go home then. He said no, but you can go tomorrow. I was out of there the next day. My best friend came and got me. She was also the one that put me in the hospital and stayed with me during the horrible surgery and was with me when they carried me to the nursing home. She was with me thru all of it. Long story! Only saw son 3 times in 9 months and he was not there for my surgery. I could use a good cleaning right now. I can't afford to go shopping right now and I would like to have some new "stuff"! HeeHee I did get a laugh when I read your comment! Could be my only laugh for the day! Thanks. Linda
