recovery period this time. We are praying that this time it will take his pain away. Too many years of strong pain killers that have stopped working. Too many years on drugs just to get through the day. My daughter in law has had to take a Family Leave of absence from her job to take care of him. Their spirits are up and glad the surgery is over and are praying this is the last surgery. Thank you

DK, I also have a son named Chad. So this is close to home. I so pray that God will relieve his pain. I know what it did to my Dad, the years he spent in pain and how it destroyed any hint of a normal life. Our God is bigger than any pain he can suffer and I know he hears all the prayers sent and that he answers them. I will pray, not only for him and his family, but for you also. I know how to sympathize with this DK for this is what I have to help my DH deal with every day. Pain is horrible & does so much to the body. My prayers r with u. *

Oh, I do hope Chadd will be out of pain now!! My late husband was a Vietnam Era Marine, so I know what we owe to these fine men & women. Prayers for him are the LEAST I can spare! I hope the VA is taking good care of him. Think positive thoughts, SEE the wound healing properly, SEE him doing things he loves without pain. SEE the best that you want for him, in the present tense. Everything is possible!! Many hugs, much love, and a Marine widow's salute to your fine son. Marji
