Trying to find info on Brother 4500D. Easy to use, stitch quality, and of course is it dependable? Need to ask as dh saw one and he likes it and thinks I should have one..I'm not sure. Thanks!

I have the Innovis 4500D also...I LOVE IT...I love the feature to thread itself...I have carpul tunnel and every little thing helps.....I have classes with mine for the machine and to learn new things, that are free. As with ALL things, sometimes you get a lemon and other times you have a peach....

Bringing this back up for Kitty. Have you looked in the Reviews section here on Cute? There are lots of machine reviews there, too. I just remember somebody having loads of trouble with a Brother, but not which make/model it was. Glad your problem got fixed, Eric! Just my 2cents worth, I have a Janome 300E & wouldn't part with it. But I think the most important part of any machine is the dealer!! If you have good service & support, you have a much better experience. My dealer gives free lessons on the machines you buy from her, has a free Janome club, where you can come & learn free if you have her machine ($10 if you don't), and support and lessons on software. I think I also get a 10% or 20% discount on all Janome accessories for my machines. And she's just 12 miles down the road! Whatever the machine, I vote for great dealer support. Hugs, Marji

I have been having loads of trouble with the Brother 700II. My dealer says that I am the only one that has had this much torublewith that model. ( but I have had 3 different machines...go figure!). Anyway, I have heard Only GOOD things about the Innovis 4500. Wish I could afford one!

I have one and I just love it. Had a problem with service, but it's been worked out now. It does everything but wash the dishes and do the laundry. There is a learning curve with it as there are so many functions, but once you get the hang of it it's great.

If you have any specific ?'s PM me.

Eric
