145789My prayers are with you and your family. Right now, I would not worry about the machine. You will find out that when you are having problems that darned ole machine will have problems also. That is just the nature of things! When you are thinking straight and not worrying about other things go back and it will most likely all fall in place. Just treat the family and the machine with TLC. I do hope all the test turn out good but if not, trust in the Lord. He and only He knows what the future holds. May God bless! Linda in Ga. 3047Chenille that sounds like the problems I have when I forget to raise the pressure foot before threading the machine or have a piece of thread caught in the thread tension disks. You sound stressed my dear, that is a whole lot of people and problems to deal with. As the hostess it puts so much pressure on you, but they will appreciate it. Having gone through this with your dad I am sure you know what to do but do remember to contact your local hospice for help. Even with your mom at home they will come in and help. My sister died at home from cancer and the hospice group was very helpful. I am thinking of you and praying for you and your mom and family.

Thank you so much...it is just good to talk(so to speak). My DH had a lung tumor just after mum moved in with us...he had a lung removed and has done well. This is just a bit of a blow to us as she seemed so well.

Chenille, this sounds about right to me. Even if you check it 10 times it just still may be it needs threaded again. Good luck on the pillowcase. You are in my prayers. I pray for peace for you.
