I sometimes download a free design for a 5X7 hoop, but the 5X7 is in the wrong direction being 7" wide by 5" high and I am not allowed to convert. Can I fix this with the onboard tools in Tajima Pulse, or do I need a more elaborate software program like Embird? Any answer would be greatly appreciated. If I can't correct the file, I'll save them in a folder till I get a more elaborate program to do so. Thank-you.

Glad to have been able of assistance to you both. Just one little thing that I forgot:
When you reduce the design, below the rotating sign (inside the "Transformation" square), you can see the "Scale" "X" and "Y" signs. These are for reducing the design. Don't forget to insert the same percentage. If this is not done, the design will be reduced only by height or width, distorting the embroidery. Again, good Luck and most of all: HAVE FUN!! ... he.. Welcome to the "Cutie" Family! I'm sure you'll have lots of fun and will learn quite a bit. There are very talented members here.
Going to your question, I hope this can help:
I do have the free downloaded Tajima Program. All you have to do is: go to "Safe as" - then at the bottom of the pop-up screen you'll see the "Advanced"-button. Left click on it and go to "rotate angel". Start with rotating 90 and ask to safe. It should work. Good Luck! Mary, Melbourne
