The embroidery files can be in many different formats to be converted. You must download the file and install it.

It is totally free! If you only want to convert to diff formats I think Wilcom is the easiest. You just open and do a save as and choose format you want. Nanc

open the design file and do a "save as" choosing the format you wish to change to.

Anyone else have problems downloading/installing this? Seems to work just fine for me, but then won't open....I get an error msg. saying something about "side by side something wrong". Uninstalled, downloaded again and tried 2nd install but got the same message.

Try downloading the file AFTER you have disabled any anti-virus software you have running, do the install at the same time.
It is always best to disable your anti-virus software when downloading program files, as long as you know the site you are downloading from is safe.

This is also great for those who have to hook up their machine to look at a design. With this download you don't have to do that anymore. I love it because I can see what to design without hooking up my machine. I have a brother 1500 D.

If I install this and too ignorant to understand how to use it, are you going to take the time to explain it to me? Everything I know about computers, I have had to learn the hard way! My son is of no help at all although he is a computer programmer and designs web pages. He has no patience with anyone when he has to take even a mere second to answer a question. His mood swings have become so horrible that I just try to stay out of his way. He scares me sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I am not afraid of him but afraid FOR him. Something is bad wrong and I can not fix it and he will not try. B-U-T that is a story for another day. I need the peace today after a bout with him last night. Just pray that my right leg will begin to heal again. I got an infection in it and it is having to be scraped and dug in each trip to the Dr. for the last several weeks. Between my Bebe, my son and my leg and my da-- car still sitting in my drive without the part that my son took off of it 12/26/09 and me with no way to get around without my son, It has been bad lately. I have tried to stay to myself but after our match last night, I am in a "sick of life" mood today again. He never lets it get better before he pitches one of his fits again! My family has offered to come up here and help me pack and move back home but I can not afford to leave before my right leg completely heals. THEN it stalls and even gets worse during the last 3 weeks. I will be so glad when I can get as far away from his temper tantrums that he has had since his Heart Attack March 9th of last year. I am too old and had a hard enough life without having to deal with whatever it is that makes me his whipping post for all of his screaming fits!
My Bebe still eats very good but does little else but sleep and ask for sugar once in awhile. I am no longer forcing her to eat dog food because it is better for her. She gets boiled chicken, broiled ribeyes and whatever else she will eat. She used to love scrambled eggs but she does not care much for them any longer. She does like her veggies mixed with the meat. Marji, please keep Brian in your prayers. I have no idea what is going on so I have no way of dealing with it. Hugs, Linda
