Well cuties I am sharing my joy with you all. Remember how my machine was acting up the last couple of days? I tried everything, new needle (three), adjusting the tension, changing the bobbin, holding the thread and guiding it with my hand into the machine, putting sewer's aid on my thread. Well long story short I been dreaming of a new model and hubby asked if I wanted to check out the machines. Well we walked out the store with a brand new Brother NV2500D. Wohooooo! I am hoping on one leg and doing the buggy dance :) now just need to get busy and get some embroidery done.

Awesome!!! What a lucky girl you are!!! I'm envious!!! But what is Sewer's Aid? *4U

Sewer's aid a lubricant that can be used on the thread.It helps smooth the thread so it does not frays and many other uses on sewing tools too.

I'm not familiar with the Brother line of sewing machine. But from you excitment I gather it is great. Nothing like bringing home a brand new sewing machine. ENJOY !!!!!!!

Congratulations on the purchas of a Brother Innov IS 2500D - that is fantastic - I can't wait to see your first project - did you trade the other machine in on it, too or just get it serviced?

Thank you Shirlene, I did not trade in my old machine, I actually asked my husband to take me to Hancock fabrics and on the way back home he just simply stopped at the dealer to just "check the prices of the items I just bought at Hancock" (that is what he said. But then he asked if I wanted to look at the machines and.... temptation won ;) I have not taken the machine in for service yet but I still have the choice to take it in for either choice, by this Saturday I will know
