A quote from the cover " In a world where religion seems to grow increasingly irrelevant THE SHACK werstles with the timeless question: Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain? The answers Mack gets will astound you and perhaps transform you as much as it did him."

You're right. I wasn't so sure when I started it. It didn't have a "grap me" to read beginning.

Carolyn, I have read this book and I must say that other than the Bible, it is the only book where I have sat and openly wept. The author puts lots of Biblical teaching into everyday common language that is readily understandable. He did the studying for us.;) I would highly reccommend it.

I started to read just for leisure but found myself writing down various statements and notes!

Sounds like an interesting book... I often ask GOD "why..." and I always hear "I Am". I will have to look this up on Amazon. Thanks for sharing. xoxo

The "I Am" is used in the book. What a good way to see things.
