Has anyone elce had this problem? I can not order on line for some reason, it has to go thru a store. It is a 40x miles for me to go to the nearest store. Thanks,

I know everyone in Arkansas threw such a fit that the Wal-marts kept their fabrics dept. I wish they would bring it back here in Oklahoma though. I'm like everyone else, I have to drive 60 miles, but then I do have several other fabric stores there to choose from as well.

My local Wal Mart also remodeled, and did away with the fabric section. I'm SO disappointed! Now the ONLY fabric store that is anywhere close, is Joanne. I had gotten spoiled by Wal Mart's better prices, now I hate to spend what Joanne wants for fabric.

Waterlilly, e-mail the company, I did this, and told them with this economy in the state that it is in, that they need to enlarge there fabric areas, not shut them down. I do not know if it will make a difference, if they hear from enough of us, it may. H&*.

I can't get the H20 stab. at my Walmart either. I now order it from ATW it is great quality and cost less that Walmarts.

Wal-Mart here closed the fabric selection last year ;( I have to travel about 92 miles round trip. However; I only do this when I plan to treat myself ;D *2U

Mad, first I want to know what you treat yourself to? Haha!! Anyway, try writing them to tell them we need out fabric depts. H&*.

I have noticed that the service has gone down the tubes with Wal Mart. I would rather buy over the internet that deal with such poor service.

Yes, I think this is the way to go, if I can find a fair price, less then $1.90 a yard and at 11 to 12 inches wide.H&*.

Over the years I have found that there is someone else who does value your custom, so have fun hunting.

Not to start another ruckus, but did you know that SiCK is now selling stabilizers? Good quality, made by a man who used to work for Walter Floriani, and very reasonable. Don't know about shipping, but shipped from USA, not Canada. WalMart can be such a pain!! Good luck! Marji

ease your frustration level, Walmart sucks ever since Mr. Walton died, so just go to Joanns.com and order your stablizers from them. Usually you can get a 40% coupon on the site and they'll ship it to your door.

I have been to Joanns, however, have not found H20Gone there. H&*.

The Walmart stores closed their fabric dept. but after lots of folks raising ruckus they've brought them back in a lot of their stores throughout the USA.

I think a call to the store manager and a complaint email to the homeoffice may help you with this frustration. OR Don't give that money cow (walmart) another red cent of your money and order online. I have heard that in large quantities if you call them this site gives a great price
