from the Sulky package:
Sulky® Tender Touch™ is a lightweight, permanent stabilizer that is ideal to "cover-the-back" of finished computerized embroideries to protect sensitive skin from scratchy stitches. It can also be used as a preparation for all delicate fabrics like silk, satin, lame', batiste, open weave wovens, and lightweight cottons to help prevent shredding or distortion due to heavy needle penetrations when embroidering. Tender Touch protects the fabric by giving it the needed support while embroidering, without changing the hand or drape of the fabric. It is ideal for baby and child garments, sports apparel, lingerie, spandex and golf shirts because it stretches with the garment. White 20"x 36"

Ok, I may be remembering wrong, but check before you try to sew on Dreamweave. As I remember, Dreamweave is to put OVER the embroidery, on the back, to protect skin, like tender baby skin, from the scratchiness of the stitches. I don't think it's meant to be stabilizer, it's much too soft. Please correct me if I'm wrong, thinking of the wrong product. My dealer sells Floriani, and we had a demo on all their products. My best, Marji

I plan to use for this purpose-cover stitches but i also read that it can be used as support for the fabrics too.

thanks for the replies. I have ordered this from ALlbrands at $24.99 as I've utilised a $5 coupon. Thanks and I look forward to this when its being shipped to me from my SIL (she helped me consolidate my orders)
