For some things I make a list and check them off especially if they are not a daily thing. I also have a folder called Embroidery sites in my Favorites List. Those I want to check on a regular basis I move to the top and work my way down through them each each day. Also the reminders posted here helps to check!

I also put mine in a folder in Favorites. I make a special folder named Hunts and save the page there. You can also put what hunt it is for when you save it ie: iced cookie, and so on. Makes it really easy I check them every day and its not that time consuming.

I just opened a word document, copied and pasted the sites that I want to check and saved it to my desktop. Then I just open it and hit Control, plus click with my mouse and go the the sites I want. Very east to add to or delete. It is a habit now to check it.;)

I add an event in my yahoo calander under location I paste the addy in. it is named for the design I am collecting ex Fantasy font is the event name this way I know the file I am looking for when I click the dl. When I paste addy into location it becomes a link so I never have to hunt for the site again. I set is as an all day event, and that it repeats daily, weekly, monthly or I pick Mon Wens Fri depending on the site I am collecting from. then I get emails for everything I am collecting never forget to check my email lol
Hope this helps

Most of the newer internet browsers allow you to have more than one home page. I set any sites that have a daily free design as one of my home pages. :-) That way every day when I open Internet Explorer, it goes right to those pages.

To do this, there is usually a place to "add or change" your homepage in your browser. For IE, click the down arrow next to the picture of the little house, the click the "add or change" homepage. Make sure you are on the site you want to add or have all the pages open in different tabs, and then choose either "add this page to your home page tabs" or "use the current tab set as your home page" if you want to set more than one at the same time

IE lets you have up to 8 home pages. :-)

Blessings,
Krisann

I had that problem and then finally decided to get organized. I set up folders with site or designer names and when I download the zip file it goes into the right folder. I make new ones if I have to. Then when they're unzipped I put the info in the notes section of the desilgn before I save it into the embroidery program files. I have also just purchased catalogueXpress to really have access to the same design types without having to open every folder the design could be put in depending where I put it the first time [some designs can fit in many different places]. When you have a small number of designs the first style works fine but when you start having large nos. of designs a different system is needed. I do put the sites into my favorites list with daily, weekly, monthly and the others for checking for new designs. With purchased designs the notes area is a good place to record puchase site, date and order no. Definitely keep a file of purchased designs so when the hard drive crashes you can go back and get the designs you've lost. Yes, hard drives fail, so BACK UP your files on cd, memory chip or external hard drive.

I click on favorites, once I have been on a site and like it and want to collect something from that site. this is saved on my computer so I just click on that site and check through my list when i switch it on every morning. And I always check through cute while I have a cup of tea.
All other sites I have saved in a file in my documents and go through that once in a while.
Join sites so that they will send you mail when they have new designs .
So no I dont think you out of luck- there are to many sites to remember
I'm Sure there are going to be lots of good advise from all the Cuties out there
Good luck

I tried an Excell sheet which was good if I only kept it up. Computer is only as good as the person behind it.

Write it down. I can not remember moment to moment much less day to day or month to month. Good luck. Sue

Good memory, not me! I have a daily list, a weekly and a monthly. Use the first one (almost)daily, the second now and again and the third almost never, so that's not a big help either. Flower for you, I'm looking forward to the answers too.
