Oh Eric I am glad that you responded...I am sorry that you feel unwanted...I want you here, I enjoy reading your posts...that is why I asked about you..I also have gone thru a difficult time but I find that laughter is GOOD:) Please come back to US..girls, boys, male & or female. I MISS YOU! Barb
31942This is Eric. Thank you for asking about me. I am still a member but no longer post responses to messages. It is my understanding that some nasty private messages have and still are going around about me regarding some assumptions that are being made about me being the only male in this group. There were also comments being made along the lines that the "girls" couldn't be "themselves" with a man reading what they said. And didn't feel comfortable posting if a man could read what they posted.
This is a public group and from what I understand anyone (MALE of female ) can join. I used to enjoy chatting with the members, (as a matter of fact when I first joined we had quite the laugh at me being the only male in the group) but now feel that I am imposing on the "girls" by not letting them be themselves.
So I log on daily to get the designs that I PAID for and leave.
I have also been very, very ill. I have a terminal illness for which there is no cure and choose to put only good things in my life at this point. The last thing I need is to hear from people that other's feel that I am not wanted or welcome here.
I used to feel welcome and I thought I gave something to this group (yes, including occasional laughs at my expense) but it appears that that is no longer true.

Eric - sorry that this has happened. I am sure that it was not intended to keep you from us. They can always go to personal and post. You are missed - and I liked the little banter. But - with what you have going on in your life, you do not need negativity now. Bless you, and Happy New Year.

Eric, I too miss you. Sorry anyone offended you. I told my husband about you being on the site with all us females. I enjoyed the male view and appreciate you being so good natured when we poked fun at men. I am so sorry you were offended. This is a public site and we cannot control who looks at our postings. Speaking for myself, I think it is great to have you on the Cute sight. You bring laughter and joy to others just by being part of this site. Please reconsider & come back on. I did. Some people just HAVE to try and stir thinks up. I'm sure I speak for many Cuties, when I say you are truely missed.

Eric, I am so sorry that you feel alienated, there are really no issues that either men or women should feel uncomfortable discussing with each other, that is part of what caring is all about. Most of the best designers are men, and so are most of the top digitizers in the world. In high school the caption of the football team was in my home EC sewing class, and he was really good. I know several men who enjoy sewing, designing, and needlepoint, I just wish I was as good. No one can really know if there are other men on this site, because there are several very involved with machine embroidery. I don't say much, but I always enjoyed reading you posts. Please come back!!
