your machines. My question is do any of you cuties use one. They are $6.75. But in these days were my husband is not work full weeks. Money is getting tight. But I have alot of large cone threads that I use on my serger machine. I was thinking that just maybe I might be able to use some of that thread on my machine. Thanks for always being there for me. Even through these last few weeks I have not been able to come to the community part of the great site. But know I am always stopping in to check for new designs.

I'll try and post pictures of gifts, here are just a few of them , 6 neck animal pillows, 14 kleenx covers( pocket size) 7 pillows made from tapestry placemates., and embroidering on 15 towels. and making FSL angels (25) of them. Angels from light blubs. and painting glass orm. and making orm. covers(embro.) 20 of them. and making table clothes 5 of them with embro. of course. and if I have time making pot holders with embro too.
as you can see I am very busy, and still babysitting with my two year grandson, and one year old granddaughter. lo I am so tried. Better get back to work.

Love ya all, Brenda Lea

My goodness Brenda Lea, you have been VERY busy! I bought a thread stand for about $7.00. It is worth the money! I use it constantly because a lot of my thread is on large cones. It is great with the 1000M cones, too. The only time I use the thread holder on my machine is when I'm using the small spools of Sulky or Maderia thread. Good luck to you...Barb

I bought one on ebay and I sit it right behind my machines and then thread as usual and it works great. I also found a lady on ebay selling those huge thread cones (5000m) and they run about $2 a piece. Don't know if i'll live long enough to use them all. But would be lost without my thread stand. No DH did make me one stuck a piece of dowel rod into a piece of 2x4 - worked great but didn't have the hook on the top to help keep feeding the thread. Anyway good luck.

Brenda, if you are asking about using the large cones on your home machine, YES. I do it all the time. I am employed in an embroidery shop and can get thread thru my employer at her cost. Just got 8 5000yd cones at $3.99 each. I have a homemade threadstand that works great with these large cones. It is made from scrap wood. There is a picture wayyyy back in the projects section. I'll see if I can find it and bring it forward for you.
You been busy girl. Now take the time to enjoy those grandbabies.

I buy the 3000 yd serger cones from Joanns on sale for $1 it is the cheapest thread they have and the only thread I can afford lol. I did have to buy a thread stand for them. On sale it was under $5.
I have used the thread with no problems and it works really well with FSL. BTW Joanns has thread on sale this weekend Veterans Day sale for 50% off, thread sets not included. Plus a 10% coupon off the total purchase including sale items!
