Now I'm going to spend a lot of my time playing with it and trying to learn how to work with it. Plus I have a lot of embroidering to get done for my grandkids' school to sell for 'extras' for their school. I'm making bookmarks, coasters, and ornaments. If you know of anything else that could be sold for under $3 that I could whip up really easy, I wouldn't mind hearing your suggestions. It would have to include designs that are freebies. I'm on a fixed income.

I really do feel lucky. But my SITE!!! I don't know about that. I haven't updated my site in years. I have been thinking about making up an alphabet that I started playing with last night. I have a lot more playing to do. I just can't wipe the smile off my face. hehehe *4u

I have been doing things for a fete coming up and one of the things I made was glasses cases got the design as a freebie, it's made in the hoop and doesn't take long, uses very little material and they look great. Must admit went through my stash of designs so I would have different designs on the others I did, which means of course had to edit the existing design and add new design and then alter the sequence of colours so they stitched in the right order. But if you can't edit etc just do them with the same design but different materials. Whoops and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

"Go, Granny, Go!!" as the Beach Boys sang many years ago. Congrats on your software, you're going to have a great time with it. Don't get frustrated learning, it will come with a little practice. Enjoy!!! And kiss that DH, and hug him for all you're worth, he's a gem. Luv ya, Marji

Thanks so much for the sweet sentament. I don't know what you mean by straps for cell phone or key earrings. Maybe I'm just too excited and can't think straight. That happens to me from time to time.

manami by manami 28 Oct 2008

Oh, I am sorry, I haven't noticed they don't use here. They are very popular in Japan. Everyone has something hanging on their mobile phone or on their keys. I'm not sure how it is called. What they look like: http://keitaistrap.blog.shinobi.j...

That does look interesting. I'm going to have to think on it and try to figure out how to make them.

Way to go! What a great birthday gift. The note pad holders stitch up real quick. You can get little note pad to fit in pretty cheap.

I did, this just made it 10xs better. He asked me what I wanted and I just through it out there. I didn't give it another thought, so I was shocked when after answering the door he came to me and handed me the parcel saying, "Happy Birthday." *4u

at one time somebody had FSL earrings that they did when they did FSL to use up the extra space... sorry can't remember who , but an idea sorry!
I think they were pink ribbon ones for breast cancer and or maybe lil horses

Lucky you you snagged a good DH and he gives thoughtful gifts!!!!

FSL EARRINGS not free though

grannyo by grannyo 27 Oct 2008

Earrings is such a great idea!!! They are small enough to fit in with a FSL Bookmark or coaster or whatever. My DH keeps getting better and better with every year. But, he isn't perfect. He asked me what I want for Christmas and I old him a serger with all the bells and whistles and he told me, "I don't think that's going to happen." Oh well, I can't have everything. lol *4u

oo, oo, oo! I think that was supposed to be mine. Your DH got my mental telepathic message instead of my DH. I've GOT to work on my aim with those messages. :) *4U

rotflol, You are so funny. I can't stop laughing. I'm sending a mental message to your DH, our families must be on the same wave length. This is going to work. I just know it! *4u
