So sad but so true. Makes me feel guilty to eat. How can a world be so uncareing. I have a friend going to africa to do 12mths mission work she gave me a pattern to knit a jumper for the aids babies. they call them the news paper babies because thatis what they wrap them in because they have nothing else.

The other day I was fustrated, etc. and I saw on a church signs these words from the Lord...Ezzemml I say to you what this sign said to me "Be faithful and leave the results to God"....You will BE BLESSED by you ACTS OF KINDESS ;) *2U

The real cruelty is apathy, letting 'someone else' care about it, or do something about it. Just turning away, from these children, or from the homeless person who begs change from you on the street. It's been 2000 years, and we still don't know how to be followers of Jesus. He didn't found a church, or build a building, or have meetings and committees. He just went & fed & healed & lifted peoples souls from despair, and was killed for it by the 'religious' people of the time. I deeply question a new building fund, stained glass windows, new choir robes, when a naked child dies with only a vulture as a companion. At least the vulture is being true to its purpose, sanctifying the child's flesh into feathers and perhaps young vultures, creating life from death. Or will well-meaning people snatch the body away and clothe it for burial, who would not clothe it for life? Ezzzemml, knit your jumper, because it is a life-affirming act, an act of compassion and caring. You cannot save the world alone, but you can give one little kid some softness to cling to for a bit, till the angel-soul flies home. Knit love into the stitches, be blessed knowing you at least did not turn away, but TRIED to make a difference. I hope I do not give offence, but that vulture sits on my shoulder some days, apparently this is one of them. Apologies if needed, Marji

i culd of not said it better then this so very true you speak and i hear ya i also do not support the stained glass and the offerings i do not go to church and i do not think that my GOD takes offence to that i still pray and worship him just not in a building

Let me share a lesson I learned fast when the Lord saved me..."GET YOUR EYES OFF OF PEOPLE". Everyone that goes to church, dress up, sing zion songs etc. is NOT with CHRIST. He said the enemy sits in the high places. Many people have been hurt and wounded in the place where they should have been nursed. I had someone to offend my cousin in the house of God but that is not WHAT JESUS WOULD HAVE DONE. You have the GOOD, BAD, & UGLY in everything and everywhere. Many of us battle with issues within ourselves. The one who wins is the one you feed the most. Jesus said, how will you know someone is my disciple..."IF YOU HAVE LOVE FOR ANOTHER". LOVE is the greates commands.

yes monica that is why i do not go to church i just praise him from hmy home i to was offended i do not have all the nice clothes or fancy outfits and i had someone ask me how i could come to church in sweat pants when i do get extra money i never think of me i think of what my kids need

I did it I got the pic up.

The picture was of a toddler just skin and bones and a vulture sitting behind him or her was crouched down with head in knees.

that is very sad i watched someone die of this disease got it from surgery blood transfusion like 24 years ago i was happy to see him leave this world so much pain from it

even though there is no immage i can just immagine what them poor babies look like they was born into this disease they did not ask for it so very sad indeed why arepeople so cruel
