Everyone knows stabilizer is not cheap. One tip is I use water soluable thread to sew water soluable stabilizer together that way the whole thing is all water soluable.

I saw water soluble thread advertised, but they didn't give me a hint as to it's purpose. Now I know I might try it, thanks to you sweetie!!! You need some flowers. 867- I'll bump you up a little. Get a larger container!!!

Remember to wind the bobbin in the same water soluable thread..... :) I know Joanne's Fabrics has it on-line & in stores. *'s

Great tip, I iron them (no steam) between brown paper to make the hoop size I need, can use LOTS of small scraps to make 1 big one. *2U

U can get it just about anywhere. I brought mine at shoppersrule.com. There is also fusible thread. We r just living in a such wonderful world.

I never knew there was such a thing as water soluable thread where do you get it from? I don't mind "wasting" thread on basting stitches since we got all the tips on what to do w/ thread scraps.

Yes, it is mostly used by quilters to baste the fabric. I can also be used to create really nice fringed embroidery designs.
