time consuming. I enjoy the hunts that do have clues .And I have a few sites that I visit regular and are signed to but for those sites that wan't all your info etc I don't even bother any more.I am totally happy to browse the sites that give trial designs so you can see what they have without asking questions. And the sites that won't even let you see there designs with out signing in I will not enter at all .Am I the only one getting this picky.

I normally do not do hunts. It is very time consuming. Unfortunately I spend too much time searching as it is. I did one to get alphabets but they were easy. I have signed up on a lot of sights to get the email newsletters and notifications. That way I only visit them when I get the email.

NO, I'm with you. I look at all the designs I have, in my wildest dreams I'll never stitch them all out, so why bother collecting more if I have to go out of my way to find them or if the quality doesn't appear to be very good.
They have to be really special before I'll download them, especially since I am now digitising myself.
There are a lot of lovely designs right here at Cute though, that I consider are "Must Haves" and I have happily downloaded them all just recently, but still, only the ones I really wanted.
No, Not fussy, 'Selective' & 'Discerning' LOL!
hugs n roses, Meganne

I absolutely avoid any site that requires more than a user name and e-mail address, I have one just for the Internet. They do not need your personal information just to allow you to sample their designs. This additional information can be used to harass you, track you, or even sold to others for profit. Some use it to watch for copyright issues. There is so much out there, you are prudent in avoiding such sites. I also set my browser to avoid tracking cookies and dump temp files, in addition to my security programs. The few things that sneak by are intercepted. I have had the most problems with embroidery and graphics sites. I also avoid hunts that take more than a "moment" to get to; time is valuable! I rather spend it reading the comments people leave on this site.

I agree to that. I don't even download all the free designs. I have so many I don't even know all I have, and in three different computers... I've decided not to download everything available either. I have downloaded some and the quality just wasn't there... so I have gotten a little picky... As for time... there are just so many hours in a day, and I can't do all the hunts either!

have to agree - don't have the time to go on hunts, there are plenty more sites who are more generous, but some are worth signing into as the archives are so large - Ann the Gran to name one - you can ask your pc to rember details so the log in is automatic Jo

No, you are right, too much time lost while we could stitch out the designs we already have.

Not picky at all - it takes a lot of time anyway.
