I know it is my own fault for not cleaning out the bobbin case area BEFORE I started.Just frustrated and want to share my error so hopefuly it will help someone new to avoid this mistake. I should have cleaned it when I changed needle but was in too big a hurry to stich. Lesson learned . The test stich was perfect the shirt is now a big challange to salvage. Well I better quit yaking and see if I can save it .Thanks .

Do you do your trials on similar material to what you are going to put it on. it is good to have a boo boo tshirt and a boo boo towel etc that is what i early mistakes turned into and and if some one wants a towel they can see the design on the towel however it has so many designs on it it's isn't a toel no more ..

Well I finally managed to come up with a new design 2 try 2 save the shirt after spending several hours searching for a design. I finally got it all done and yes I fixed the shirt, and brought it down to wet the marks from fabric pen, which is supose 2 disappear with water. You know it the marks didn't go away. It has not been a good sewing day.I have it soaking now trying to get the marks off.Someone once asked which is better fabic pen or chalk,I vote for the chalk.

If everyting in life was to our liking how would we learn? I think that we are being tested when this happens to us. And believe me, I have had a few of those bird nests, and will probably have a few more. * to U

Well, let's put it this way - if it wasn't important - you wouldn't remember it - just start cleaning out your bobbin area - when you put a bobbin in it - it only takes a second or too. Hope you were able to save it. Hehehe! Now let's really talk about STRESS - Hehehe!

did you use the same fabric and the same stabilizer that you used on you test stitch? Maybe the fabric was not hooped as tough as the test

no,but it was dusty in bobbin under spot and I think that's what did it.I don't know how a little dust can cause so much trouble, but it does. *4u

Been there and done that and still can't figure it out. Only answer is what you said, check everything twice and not be in a hurry. grrr but we live in a hurry up world and don't know just how to slow down at times.

you are so right but my lesson learned is my hurry cost me a whole lot more time to try to fix it now. I Should have cleanrd it when I changed needle to be on safe side.
