Since my youngest G-daughter has my Cricut Maker and she makes many gifts and things I had her cut me 3 different sizes of these flowers, the jar outline and the wording. She found these bamboo cutting boards at the Dollar Tree and I bought one from her. She brought the cut outs to me and since she had done them on iron on vinyl I used my mini cricut iron to press all but the flowers to the board. Then I rolled and shaped the flowers and proceeded to hot glue them in place--ah, ha, another Christmas gift for 2024 done--this will be used for my sewing group Christmas luncheon and a game I will provide. I like playing games and if no one else offers I get prepared with 2-3 games and gifts to go along with them. Everyone loves a gift, right? I want to buy a little stand for it though. I could even hot glue a twine rope to the back and tie the top in a bow.

This is beautiful! What a lovely idea for a gift and I think you are going to make a lot of people very happy with the gifts you have been making.

Thank you Karen--with your help with the crochet pot holders and my granddaughter doing her crafts, then I see it and say I want this and that--she cuts after school work is done, brings to me and we did this together....she had made herself the first one--I had to have one for a gift. I found out your Scan and Cut will read SVG formats--what Cricut uses. In May instead of serging a project, one of our members is bringing her Scan and Cut for a class and anyone with a Cricut bring theirs--Proj: glass etching with cut template. I will pay for my granddaughter to attend. Her tablet is updated with all of Cricut updates, my laptop is not. I did do glass etching years ago before cutting machines were out. I have the etch cream and she bought the template sticky vinyl. She is excited to attend. You have got to get your computer and software all set up, girl.

This is lovely. You and your granddaughter make a great team.
You could also add a picture frame holder to the back and hang it on a wall. Many possibilities.

I thought about this cutting machine for a long time. She expressed she loved crafting but not sewing. She and I went shopping one day and I bought the Maker and vinyl. We got hooked with different vinyls. I bought it to keep her in with some hobby. My daughter and my 2 oldest granddaughter's buy what they want rather than going thru any processes. They all learned to sew but nope won't. I can't imagine people not having some hobby. Wait till they grow old---they are going to wish they had some type of talent. Thank you so much for your comment.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I forget to come here quite a bit to look around. I love to see what people make--my mind is still somewhat foggy with my cancer but Praise the Lord, I am getting a bit more energy! I am trying to think about Cmas gifts already so I am not in a time crunch, as I always am.
