I belong to a Serger Club but hadn't been able to attend at least half of last year due to my cancer diagnosis, surgery and treatment. I finally felt good enough to attend Feb's date and the project was a QAYG Carrot Table Runner. I got it done at home and will show at next Month's club for show & tell. I elongated it by about 2 inches so I could capture more of the top and bottom fabric and it fits my coffee table perfectly. I had done this QAYG type baby quilt with the batting and cut strips all the same and reversible some 30+ yrs ago for my second granddaughter. I enjoyed my club day so much. As an update to my cancer diagnosis: I am done with all treatments and by the second week of February this yr. I turned the corner of feeling so bad to feeling good with my appetite back and gaining energy. So thankful--God is Good! Thank you for looking.

I saw 3 others yesterday being shown at sewing club. They will show next month at Serger club. All of ours was different so a joy to see them. Thanks Karen.

You expecting a BIG bunny at Easter dinner? Very cute runner. This would also make a stunning height chart for kids or grandkids!

Height chart is an excellent idea--no Easter planned here. Going to daughter's. I just felt so good to join my serger club plus I liked this project and had the supplies, didn't have to go out and buy anything. That is my goal, is to use what I have.

I too am glad you’re feeling better and even felt like getting out for a sew day. Your runner will be nice for Easter and it’s early this year.

Yes, my 16 y/o Granddaughter told me it is early. My son's family is going to the in-laws for dinner but hope we make the date where we can all gather at my daughter's. I had fun and felt good to have the energy to finally sew something.

Ha! Sit back--only in the morning to enjoy drinking coffee again also, get my internet stuff done, food cooking then maybe play in my sewing room. Into a project of serger quilt again for children's foster home. Getting a start on an easy one.
