Happy Thanksgiving day to all those here who will be celebrating today, hopefully with family and friends

Thank you. It is just my hubby and me this year. We traveled to the funeral yesterday and were gone 15 hours from home. Needless to say, I did not feel like much this morning. But it is Thanksgiving, and I will fix us a simple traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
I got ticked yesterday evening on the way home. My cell phone range, and of course being in the car it came across our car speakers. My oldest granddaughter called and said that she volunteered to make something for the dinner they are having with her husband's family. She didn't know how to make any of it. But she wanted to try so she asked me how to make a dressing (Stuffing), fresh cranberry sauce, and a pie that I make. I gave her the recipes that I have made since I have been married and was the way my mother made them. We all got a chuckle out of it when we got off the phone.

Thank you. We will be with some good friends, having good food and a pleasant time. It will be wonderful since I am finally strong enough to be out of the house for a couple of hours. We have much to be thankful this year.

Thanks for thinking of us. I will not overeat, I will not overeat. (Easy for me as I am not planning a huge selection of dishes.) Remember your blessings everyone!
