Hi Cuties, just trying to keep my mind busy. I guess I need to stop quilting so much and sew other things. It took me all day to figure this out and make. ALL day🙄

My husband says no one needs a bag this size! Then I showed him inside. My wool pressing mat just fit. I also made a pocket the same width as the bag, quilted and with a zipper. It holds my 15.5 inch square ruler and cutting mat.
It is fully lined with no exposed seam allowances. It should have been easy enough, but I just couldn’t think today. I put my side pocket seams in with the lining side seams and for some reason assembly threw me off. I got it but had to THINK. It’s 19 inches tall and 26 inches wide. My topstitching could and should have been a lot better. It was really bottom stitching-lol- bc I stitched the inside band down over the seam allowances. I just noticed when I took these pictures I caught the plaid fabric when stitching the band so I will need to fit those few stitches….tomorrow. I’m gonna try to find a good movie now.
Didn’t remember if I showed you the first tote. It has a 6 inch bottom and hold a lot. It’s fully lined too. I couldn’t match my plaids bc of limited fabric. I did try to match some lines, though.
Have a nice night or day, wherever you are. ❤️Toogie

You really made a very nice set of totes. I'd be tempted when I felt better but I have a closet full and some are going to have to go, leave my stash. Great to be carrying all the tools of the trade.

Yes because I’m sure to drop something if it’s just loose under my arm. Thanks

Toogie, this is an amazing bag!! My husband said on day, "I just don't get it. What is about all these bags?" We can never get enough bags, and we need all sizes. I like your Toogie brand on it too1

Thank you, I try to remember to put my name on things I make. I just made 4 more Farkle bags so I just embroidered my name on the bag back.

You must want people to know just how a crazy mind works!-lol He is still sleeping. We had a late night and got to bed at 2 am. A sister-in-law and a niece came to eat supper and play Farkle until about 9. Sister-in-law Nita was having eye surgery this morning and niece had to drive an hour home and work today. While playing our game, our son calls and says he is on his way to a fire. He didn’t know where he was going but the plane sent the concordance and he was driving south. I told him to call us whenever he got off the fire no matter the time. He called a little after 1 am and said he was on the interstate coming back. My sister is down and she called and said she was having trouble lighting her heater at her house here, well 40 minutes away. So when hubby wakes I guess we will be going to see if he can get it lit. She lives 2 states away but built a home here too so her and her dogs can stay for weeks when she comes. The heater hasn’t been lit this year and I think she may turn the gas off when she leaves, not sure. Anyway, I wear plenty hat so I don’t think I will add a teacher hat, but thank you for the compliment. Hope you and hubby doing well❤️

Both of these bags are perfect for stitchers on the move. Or to keep the sewing room neat and organized. Well done and hope you get many years of use.

Your bag making skills are still firmly in place. This one may qualify as a duffle bag, it's so big! Glad you gave your brain a big workout, and now you're prepared to go quilt with others! Hugs to all.

The large one is really flat like an IPod case or laptop case. Just wide enough for these flat items, mats and rulers. I needed something to ‘tote’ these in bc once I tried carrying too much and a brand new 6x24 ruler slipped out of my grip and chipped the corner off.

Love the tote bag! One cannot have too many bags. Zipper too, great addition. Cute fabrics inside too :). Now, relax today and find the perfect movie. Hugs and flowers to you from Michigan.

Lol- I love the fabrics inside too, as well as my youngest daughter does. I haven’t figured out just what I want to make with them but the retro will be mine whatever I make. My daughter is NOT getting it-lol I did watch a movie last night but dozed off and on-lol
