Had a fantastic visit with my niece and her family.....all the kitties hid from her kids, even Louie went under our quilt with 2 of his sisters......he has never done that before! Felt so bad for my great niece and nephew as they thought they would bet to play with kitties....They did get to see our baby birds and the last time we saw them was late Friday. The nest has been empty since Saturday AM so we assume they "flew the Coop"... I so wanted to see them fly......oh well at least we can get the nest area painted now.....

Awww, I was so hoping the fur babies would get lots of loving. But then, I suppose they aren't used to being around kids now. I guess the good news is that now you have even more birds to enjoy, with the babies gone. I hope you get to enjoy being empty nesters, but I look forward to seeing more babies next year.

👍👍 I want to get some hummingbird feeders, too, but need to do research what to feed and how to keep the feeders clean for them....I have seen some flying around so want to attract some....

Your furry family must have wondered what had got their peaceful life with such an invasion. Hiding is the safest thing to do in such circumstances. Sorry you missed the birds fly off but good to hear all survived

For sure, in fact the kids went into the bedroom where 3 were hiding under the quilt and I had to skiddadle them out as I think they were gonna try to lift the quilt to see them....lol Those cats would've really gotten stressed had I let that happen...
