Tux has a good idea for us all. I agree that AC is a true blessing with the summer temps and air quality. Stay cool and hydrated and hope the fur babies do the same.

We've had unusually warm weather. Our lawns are already brown brown brown like they usually get in late August. The last day and a half we did get a little rain but not enough to really wet things down. Ozone action days last week and smoke coming down from Quebec. (lower Michigan). Hope you are by water!

Have you discovered the cloth necklaces at garden centers to wet with cold water and wear around your neck when working outside in the garden or doing construction? Buy 2, keep one on and one in refrigerator or a small cooler with you. Also, my Bloodmobile gives away a thin towel that works on the same principle. Will lower your perceived temp by 8-10 degrees which may be all you need to keep working out there. My favorite time of years for some iced tea with crushed peppermint leaves in it.

In January you'll open one last box and there they will be - useless!

Its something we dont get very often in the UK. I am sure that you are enjoying your new home and the different life. I live in a very old house that is always cool in summer - not that we have such hot summers
