Hi Cuties, I made this new headrest cover, for Avery’s wheelchair, just a few days before Christmas. With all that’s been going on, I forgot to show you. It’s nothing pretty, but necessary. I didn’t have any black vinyl and so I used Navy. I guess I should have waited, until I was able to get black, but parents were so glad they said it was fine. The Navy is so dark I think it’s ok. Besides, they were just glad to have something that wouldn’t get peelings tangled in her hair.

I took the old cover apart so I could cut a pattern. It was worn and stretched but it helped me cut mine out. Thanks!

I think you did a wonderful job for Avery. And when she is in the chair, who would bother to look beyond her beautiful face. I'm grateful you have been in contact with Miss Lillian. I've missed her.

Mrs Lillian misses everyone too. They have very poor phone and internet connection so it’s hard to get online. Thanks about the headrest cover. I try.

You did a great job, Toogie. It is hard to get anyone to do repair-type work on the upholstery of a wheelchair, you could probably have a full-time business if you wanted it. The guys in the business just want to sell you the next chair. You are such a great advocate for her!
