Christine, Ashley is the mom, maybe you meant Nora’s growing tall. She is tall for her age but her dad is over six feet, as were his parents. Ashley the mom, was taller than kids her age when she was younger, but some eventually caught up to her.
We are in one of the southern states so it’s been hot here and gardens are producing.

This was about the best pic with Avery. It’s hard to get five people all looking great in the same photo-lol Grayson had been trying to hold Avery in some of the pictures but I think Avery and Grayson both relaxed more with her seated in the sand.
59617I am glad they had this wonderful family vacation. The family picture, dressed in white is awesome! I just returned from vacation at Fort Myers Beach. I have not been there for about 3 years and boy has it changed. I hope you had a wonderful mother's day

Yes Nora is thank you. Around her mouth is peeling. I hope it doesn’t scar. Avery enjoyed hearing the water lapping I’m sure. She listens well.

I just love the sand along the Gulf so I'm delighted to have shared it with them. I'm thankful Nora was OK and the medicine saved the vacation for them. It sounds like you had a wonderful Mother's Day. And when you see our honorary Cutie, give her a gentle hug for us all. And thank Ashely and Grayson for being the best Mom and Dad Avery could ever have.

One of the ladies I sew with, when I told her Ashley and family was going to Florida on vacation, asked me if they were going to take Avery.
What a dumb question. I said,"Avery goes where they go, because she is part of the family."
The sand was so white there, even though it was so pretty, it reflected the sun so much so, that no amount of sunscreen and reapplying of it, kept them from sunburn. A friend of mine said maybe Nora was allergic to the sunscreen. I told her Nora has broken out before. I remember when she was four. Ashley told me the allergist said there are so many things they have to test people for, he didn't want to put her through all that at this young age. I don't know.

They did have a nice time but as always, were glad to be back home. Grayson said the up and down of the stairs to the beach wasn't as bad as trying to walk through the sand carrying Avery. I think Ashley said all Grayson wanted to do was sleep when they got home.

They came back Thursday night so were here a little while for Mother's Day. Grayson had a nephew graduated from college, so they were back, for the family party for him. Gus must have still been worn out, from the week with five other boys on the trip. He was asleep when they arrived and slept the whole time they were here.-lol

I am too Betsey. I know it wasn’t easy packing everything they would need for Avery but she goes everywhere with them. Her biological dad never gets her and it’s probably best for Avery, even though it means Ashley and Grayson have her 24/7.
